THE HOST RP
So sorry about this... I tried to message you but it's all private and stuff, so if this is not OK I apologize!
Anyway, I was wondering if you were still interested in helping me out with a Host RP? If not, read no further! If you are, however, I've got insomnia, so I figured we could start mulling over a few things…
My friend (who is no longer involved) and I were torn between two possible community names… either houseofjeb or jebtown. We managed to settle on a good blogging site for it to take place on, however, and that's Scribbld. They allow only six icons per journal, but there's practically no ad-nuisancing, and the journal HTML is almost infinitely customizable. Plus, there are more options for journal names! So I'd like to know your opinion on that.
Also, we thought it'd be a good idea to limit three characters per mun (IRL person, I forgot what the heck "mun" stands for anyway…), and use our discretion to avoid having one person play two characters that would normally interact (for instance, Ian and Jared? Melanie and Ian? If one person was playing two, that'd be no fun!). Of course, there's the dilemma of OCs… since a lot of the resistance population is unaccounted for, we'll probably have to allow them eventually, but I think we should cherry-pick from the best applications, or perhaps even avoid opening the slots up until most of the canon characters are filled.
Before I forget, these were the three I was gearing up to snag ;)
- Jeb
- Kyle
- Burns Living Flowers
Ugh where was I! Oh yeah, plot! I was thinking something along the lines of this… after the epilogue, Nate sends several people back to their own base, and the rest accompany the Jeb team back to theirs (maybe it's closer, the other people volunteered to go back, there's a reason they had to go to Jeb's, etcetera). The two populations spend some time becoming acclimated with each other; eventually, Nate starts to worry that his own base hasn't contacted him, so several either decide to go back, or… following Jeb's roundabout directions, they discover the remainder of his team out in the desert. Either way, it is revealed that his base has been compromised – the resistance members were either scattered to neighboring bases or captured. And we'll go from there.
With the home team, there's tons of opportunities for plot… with the whole love square perhaps continuing, with Kyle and Jodi, maybe Jamie starts to develop a crush on Wanda since her new body's age is so close to his own… you name it!
Anyway, them's my thoughts. I should have AIM up and running soon, and we can schedule a proper chat if you prefer! Well, hope this drivel was somehow enlightening… can't wait to hear from you ;)
